One passenger survived a plane crash in India — his seat number
On Thursday, June 12, a passenger plane carrying 242 people crashed in India. One of the passengers, a British citizen, managed to survive.

The only survivor is Ramesh Viswashkumar, a Briton who was sitting in seat 11A. He escaped by jumping out of the plane.

"Thirty seconds after takeoff, there was a loud noise, and the plane crashed. It was sudden. When I came to, I saw bodies around me," he said.
