Ukraine and Poland are working to resolve the issue

Tusk emphasized that he would not allow the Volyn tragedy to be drawn into political games. He added that the countries are now finding common ground and working to resolve the problem. Tusk noted that these historic events are important for Poland and require empathy from Ukraine and vice versa.

"There is an obvious problem and need that needs to be addressed so that Polish families can bury their loved ones who were victims of the Volyn tragedy with dignity," Tusk noted.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, also said that work was underway and materials were being processed. According to him, Russia is the main threat to Ukraine and Poland and we need to unite against it.

"We must do everything to strengthen our alliance," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

At the same time, Donald Tusk noted that Ukraine’s accession to the European Union also means security for Poland. The Prime Minister of Poland called those who do not understand this traitors or fools.
