In the vicinity of the village of Terny in the Donetsk region, Russian invaders opened fire on a civilian woman who was simply walking down the street. As a result of the received injuries, the woman died.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets on Thursday, November 14.

The invaders killed the woman

"Recently, it became known from social networks that on November 10, on the outskirts of the village of Terny in the Donetsk region, Russian soldiers opened fire on a woman who was simply walking down the street. She died," Lubinets said in a statement.

The human rights defender said that he had sent letters to the UN and the ICRC regarding this crime. He noted that the international community should not only take note of this fact, but also react to it.

The Prosecutor General's Office has started a pre-trial investigation into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.

"I will add that this is a gross violation of the Geneva Conventions relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War," Lubinets emphasized.

He noted that the aggressor country continues to violate all laws and customs of war, committing crimes against humanity. According to him, the international community must do everything possible to stop and punish the aggressor.

Previously, the Russian invaders once again shot a Ukrainian soldier. He was probably injured and unarmed.
