It is noted that the number of sentences has decreased, compared to the pre-war years.

"This dynamics is due to the fact that at the beginning of the great invasion, the submission of declarations for officials was voluntary, and accordingly, was not controlled by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention," the report says.

The most corrupt officials are being held accountable in the Lviv, Vinnytsia and Odesa regions.

"This year, the largest number of violators received sentences in the Lviv region — 172 or 9.8% of the total number. Slightly fewer offenders were convicted in the Vinnytsia region — 151 or 8.6%. The top three was closed by the Odesa region with an indicator of 115 cases or 6.5%," the statistics noted.

It should be recalled that an indictment was sent to the court against four officials of the Dnipro City Council, who embezzled more than 10.5 million hryvnias from funds allocated for the material support of the territorial defense of the region.

We reported that, amid corruption scandals with MSEC officials, the functions of the commission will be performed by the Ukrainian State Research Institute of Medical and Social Disability Problems, which is located in Dnipro.
