China insists on negotiations between Ukraine and Russia to resolve the "crisis". This should be facilitated by the international community.

According to Lin, the only possible way to resolve the "crisis" is through dialogue and negotiations. He suggested that this can only be done with the support of the major powers.
"Only when all the great powers demonstrate positive energy will we be able to see hope for a quick ceasefire," the diplomat said.
China declares neutrality in the war in Ukraine, but provides Russia with substantial economic and diplomatic support. At the same time, it has criticized the military assistance provided by the United States and other partners to Ukraine to protect it from Russian invasion.
