Yermak and Sybiha met with G20 ambassadors — what they talked about
On Tuesday, October 15, Head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha met with ambassadors of the G20. The parties discussed the important process of implementation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's peace formula.
This was reported by Andrii Yermak via his Telegram channel.
What did the Head of the Office say
"At the meeting, diplomats and embassy representatives from countries such as Brazil, Australia (online), Argentina, the United Kingdom, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Turkey, the EU, France, Germany, South Africa, Japan, the USA, and Canada were present. We continue to work closely in an online format as well — the ambassadors of Ukraine in these countries joined us," wrote Yermak.
The Head of the President's Office emphasized that international partners support Zelenskyy's Peace Formula, i.e. the path to a just and lasting peace, and "their role in this process is invaluable". He also noted that each conference brings its own results, and in early November, the results will be presented in the form of a single document.
"The completion of the cycle of thematic conferences based on each of the points of the Peace Formula is planned for this month. Each conference yields its results — joint communiqués containing concrete decisions and steps for implementation. At the beginning of November, we will be ready to present these developments in the form of a single document," the message reads.
In addition, Yermak said that Ukraine is ready to discuss other proposals for a just end to the war at the G20 summit. At the same time, he emphasized that it is important that all decisions are based on international law and the UN Charter, as "our common goal" is Ukraine's victory and the return of peace.
"Together with our partners, we continue to work to ensure the necessary conditions for the start of effective negotiations," summarized Yermak.
A few days earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that at the second Peace Summit, the country would present fair conditions for ending the war. He also confirmed that the plan would be finalized in November.
