According to a police spokesman, investigators will check information about whether this incident is connected to cases of vandalism at the Swedish embassy in Moscow.
A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the Swedish embassy in Moscow is in contact with the Russian authorities regarding the incident in Stockholm.
"It is serious when a country's embassy is the object of vandalism. The Swedish authorities are responsible for the security of the embassy, and the police have launched a preliminary investigation," Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard said.
