How many F-16s will Denmark offer Ukraine
According to Mette Frederiksen, the fighters transferred from Denmark have already been delivered to Ukraine. These are six F-16s.
"Our plans for F-16s have not changed. The number is the same as always. Six have already been delivered," Frederiksen said.
She added that Denmark has been training Ukrainian pilots for over a year. They are being taught to control F-16s.
"We have been training Ukrainian pilots since August last year. It is a difficult process, but it is ongoing. There will be a second batch, and then a third," Mette Frederiksen said.
As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced how many air targets were shot down by F-16 fighters during the attack on Ukraine on November 17.
Norway has announced a new aid package for Ukraine. In particular, it concerns F-16 fighters and NASAMS systems.
