The head of the Pentagon said that the USA will do everything possible to support the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in achieving his goals. Lloyd Austin also said that the United States will do everything possible to support the Victory Plan.
This was stated by the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin at a press conference after the meeting of the defense ministers of NATO member states in Brussels on Friday, October 18, as a correspondent of Novyny.LIVE reports.

"The Victory Plan is the plan of the President Zelenskyy. We will do everything we can to help with security and support the President of Ukraine in his efforts to achieve his goals. We all want to make sure that we continue to do that, linking military goals to strategic goals. This dialogue is ongoing: we will continue to focus on doing everything we can to support the Victory Plan. This is our support for President Zelenskyy. It is not in my competence to publicly assess his plan," Lloyd Austin said.
Regarding Ukraine's use of long-range weapons, Lloyd said that the Ukrainians have used their own strike capabilities with long-range UAVs very effectively.
"We saw that the Ukrainians managed to strike a number of strategic ammunition supply points, and this affected the situation on the battlefield. It is important to note that these UAVs can be produced in Ukraine. The Ukrainians are able to quickly increase this production, and the UAVs have proven their high efficiency and accuracy," the head of the Pentagon said.
In addition, Lloyd Austin emphasized at NATO headquarters in Brussels that the United States, in particular, has been providing security assistance to Ukraine for over two and a half years and will continue to do so.
As a reminder, previously, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, stated that the United States is providing Ukraine with what it needs for success on the front line right now. Work is also being done for the future protection of Ukrainians.
