In Tbilisi, Georgia, citizens continue to rally over the government's decision to abandon EU accession talks. Security forces dispersed the protesters and then attacked them in the subway.

Throughout the night, the protesters threw fireworks at the police, who responded with water cannons and tear gas.

This morning, security forces pushed the protesters off Rustaveli Avenue to the nearest metro station. There, law enforcement officers began to beat even women, and then checked almost all the central streets of the city, looking for those who remained after the protest.

It is known that more than 200 people were detained from the beginning of the rallies on November 28 to December 1.

Earlier, we wrote about the escalation of the situation at the protests in Georgia. The protesters switched from using firecrackers and fireworks to Molotov cocktails.

And the new Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, said that the Ukrainian "Maidan scenario" cannot be implemented in Georgia.
