Ukrainian World Congress handed over first aid kits and drones

The Ukrainian World Congress handed over an aid package worth 51 million hryvnias to the fighters of the Main Intelligence Directorate. This included, in particular, first aid kits, drones and equipment.
The MID press service reported this on Wednesday, December 18.
Aid to the MID fighters
The MID said that the Ukrainian World Congress handed over the aid package for the MID units of active operations as part of the Unite with Ukraine initiative, aimed at strengthening the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It contains:
• 4,465 individual first-aid kits, specially designed for the needs of the active operations units of the MID of the Ministry of Defense,
• medical stretchers,
• Saros portable oxygen concentrators,
• X-Stat hemostasis applicators designed for effective control of severe bleeding,
• 50 "Babai Heavy" drones,
• 3,000 pairs of merino wool socks from the Ukrainian People's House in Przemyśl (a branch of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland) and the Saint Javelin company.
"Ukrainians continue to fight for preserving their sovereignty, identity and way of life. This struggle goes beyond a simple territorial dispute: it embodies the deep aspiration of Ukrainians for freedom, democracy and the fundamental right of human dignity. And we, as the global Ukrainian diaspora, are here to support them," Andriy Potichnyi, director of the Unite with Ukraine initiative from the Ukrainian World Congress said.
At the same time, the head of the MID, Kyrylo Budanov, expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian World Congress and every citizen of Ukraine who continues to strengthen military intelligence officers and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in general. According to him, this support is significant and systemic.
It is also known that in total, since February 2022, the MID has received assistance from the UWC in the amount of more than 121 million hryvnias — in particular, medical equipment, modern UAVs and other equipment.
As a reminder, on December 18, Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha announced that Australia had provided Ukraine with over $1 billion of aid. $880 million of this funding was military support.
Moreover, the United States announced a new package of military aid for Ukraine a few days ago. It included, among other things, drones and ammunition.
