The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the delegation of the United Kingdom led by the Chief of the Defence Staff Admiral Tony Radakin. They discussed defence cooperation between the countries and the increase in the technological capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this via Telegram on Thursday, November 21.

The meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the delegation of the United Kingdom led by the Chief of the Defence Staff Tony Radakin was attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoliy Barhylevych.

"We are grateful to your people and government for the long-term support from the United Kingdom. Our countries have excellent contacts and strong cooperation," the Head of State noted.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Tony Radakin paid special attention to the military needs of Ukraine and further assistance from partners.

"We discussed defence cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom — the development and increase of the technological capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Special attention was paid to the military needs of Ukraine and further assistance from partners," Zelenskyy wrote.

It should be reminded, that on the Day of Dignity and Freedom, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the memory of Ukrainians who died during the Revolution of Dignity. The Head of State placed a lamp at the cross on the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley in Kyiv.
