On Friday, October 11, Pope Francis will meet the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Vatican. The meeting is scheduled at the Apostolic Palace at 9:30 a.m. local time.
This was reported by the ANSA agency, referring to the statement of the press service of the Holy See.
Zelenskyy's meeting with the Pope
"Pope Francis will meet the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday morning in the Vatican, the press service of the Holy See announced on Wednesday," the press release said.
Currently, the press service of the Holy See has not provided additional information about the topics or agenda of the meeting.
It should be reminded that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković on Wednesday, October 9. They signed the Agreement on long-term support and cooperation between the two states.
Previously, Zelenskyy commented on the creation of the Victory Plan for Ukraine. He says that this is necessary to strengthen the country's position in the negotiations.
