The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will soon visit Brussels, Belgium, where he plans to meet with leaders of a number of European countries. During the meetings, long-range capabilities, support for Ukrainian defence, as well as issues of political and geopolitical strengthening of Ukraine will be discussed.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press conference of Zelenskyy and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

What are the topics of discussion in Brussels

Firstly, the topic will be strengthening of Ukraine. Zelenskyy emphasized that it is necessary to urgently strengthen Ukraine on the battlefield, as well as politically and geopolitically. According to the President, it is important to agree on a common position with European leaders on supporting Ukraine, in particular, sending peacekeepers to the front line.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the new administration of newly elected US President Donald Trump in America should see the unity of Europe in the pursuit of a fair peace.

The Head of Ukraine also announced a discussion of the supply of long-range weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and financing of the defence industry.

Zelenskyy's visit to Brussels — what is known

According to Reuters, Zelenskyy's visit to Brussels is scheduled for December 18. He will meet with the leaders of the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, the leadership of NATO and the European Union.

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna confirmed Zelenskyy's participation in the first meeting of the European Council after the appointment of the new President of the EU Council.

It should be recalled that Zelenskyy said that Russia is already using North Korean soldiers for assaults. So far, they are only used in the Kursk region.
