Zelenskyy revealed the first step of the Victory Plan of Ukraine

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy told about the first step of the Victory Plan. He noted that the country has created a plan of measures aimed at bridging the gap between the current situation and the successful holding of the Peace Summit.
The Ukrainian leader said this at the "Ukraine — Southeast Europe" summit on Wednesday, October 9.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia is currently avoiding honest diplomacy. As a result, an action plan has been developed that can bridge the gap between the current situation and the successful holding of the Peace Summit. According to the head of state, this is a Victory Plan of Ukraine.
"The first step of the Plan is focused on whether the problem of the lack of geopolitical certainty in Europe will be solved. Does Ukraine have a place in NATO? If it is confirmed properly, Putin will lose geopolitically," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that Russia should admit that Europe has borders, independent states, and each of them has the right to choose its future.
"The truth is that Russia's acceptance of this reality can only begin with the understanding that Ukraine will never again be conquered by Russia. Ukraine's invitation to NATO and future membership for Ukraine would be real steps towards peace. Without geopolitical certainty, peace is impossible," the Ukrainian leader added.
Zelenskyy said that at the second Peace Summit, Ukraine will present fair conditions for the end of the war.
Previously, it became known that on October 11, Zelenskyy will meet with the Pope. The agenda of the meeting is currently unknown.
