The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a meeting of the European Council at the level of country leaders in Brussels. Arriving at NATO headquarters, the Head of State answered how his visit was going.

European Council meeting in Brussels

On Thursday, October 17, Zelenskyy arrived in Brussels for a special meeting of the European Council, where he presented the Victory Plan of Ukraine.

It is reported that the Head of State was accompanied to NATO headquarters by several cars with guards and a patrol helicopter.

When asked by journalists about his impressions of the visit, the President replied that it was still ongoing.

"The visit is continuing," Zelenskyy said at the Alliance headquarters.

It should be recalled that during the European Council meeting, Zelenskyy first announced the existence of secret points of the Victory Plan of Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine also stated that if the partners do not support the Victory Plan of Ukraine, this will be a privilege for Russia and a big mistake.

At the European Council meeting, the Head of State emphasized that Ukraine can hold its positions at the front line and transfer the war to Russian territory. This requires more Western weapons.

We also reported that representatives of NATO countries, in particular, the Defense Ministers of Latvia, Finland and the United Kingdom, support Ukraine's accession to NATO.
