Zelenskyy reported how energy facilities will be protected this winter

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held another meeting with the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The topic was comprehensive preparation for winter. Zelenskyy listened to the reports of all those involved in the process of restoration and protection of Ukraine's energy system.

As the President of Ukraine reported, at the next meeting with the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, he heard the reports of all those involved in the process of comprehensive preparation of Ukraine for winter: Naftogaz, Ukrenergo, the Ministries of Energy, Internal Affairs, Development of Communities and Territories, the Air Force, and regional military administrations.
"All levels of protection of the energy infrastructure: engineering, EW and air defense forces. Our aviation will take an active part. Decisions were also made to strengthen air defense in the border and front-line regions," Zelenskyy said.
As the President said, the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented a plan of measures to respond to shelling and to promptly restore damage. Work is also underway to create a decentralized network of cogeneration units.
It should be reminded that DTEK announced that Ukraine's energy system is 100% ready for winter. 2.3 billion hryvnias were invested in repairs and restoration of the TPP, 6 billion hryvnias were invested in coal mining.
