The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the second Peace Summit will take place regardless of whether the points of the Victory Plan are fulfilled. According to him, our state will continue to fight for its interests.

Zelenskyy reported this on Thursday, October 17.

The Second Peace Summit

"We are preparing for the second Peace Summit, but all our partners want Russia to be present there," the President recalled.

At the same time, Zelenskyy noted that at the Peace Summit, Ukraine should meet Russia in a strong position.

"We will still fight for our interests. Our positions at the second Peace Summit will be much weaker," Zelenskyy noted.

He added that a worse scenario is possible if our state's allies do not support the Victory Plan.

We previously wrote that the President of the European Council Charles Michel invited Volodymyr Zelenskyy to participate in the EU summit, which will be held on October 17. The Head of State was invited to present the Victory Plan.

Previously, Zelenskyy stated that at the end of this month there will be specific new contracts in Ukrainian defense production.
