Zelenskyy told about meeting with Prime Minister of Iceland
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of Iceland Bjarni Benediktsson. The Head of State thanked Iceland for supporting Ukraine from the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion.
He announced this on Monday, October 28.

"I am grateful to Iceland and the partner states from Northern Europe for supporting Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale war. I also thank Iceland for supporting our country on its path to NATO. Inviting Ukraine to the Alliance is the first point of the Victory Plan and a reliable way to achieve a fair peace," the report says.
During the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared information about the situation on the front line and Ukraine's achievements in the field of drone production. He called on Iceland to support financing of Ukrainian production of ammunition, long-range drones, missiles and other weapons, as well as to join the coalition of shelters initiated by Ukraine and Finland.
"Today, we must be stronger to stop Putin. It is important to respond jointly and decisively to the involvement of the North Korean military in Russian aggression against Ukraine and the use of North Korean and Iranian weapons by Russia," the President added.
It should be reminded, that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy made the first-ever visit to Iceland. The Head of State will take part in the work of the Ukraine-Northern Europe summit and meet with the country's leadership.
Previously, Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Iceland Bjarni Benediktsson signed an agreement on security cooperation and long-term support in Stockholm.
