"The best thing you can hear from partners in the conditions of such a war: what next step can we take to support Ukraine," the Head of State wrote.

The President emphasized that countries such as Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, and Sweden are ready to increase support for the defense of Ukraine.

"We discussed how to supply Ukraine with additional air defense systems, including "Patriots". We agreed to increase defense production both in Ukraine and at the territory of our partners," Zelenskyy said.

He added that all Nordic partners supported the Victory Plan of Ukraine, which aims to bring a fair peace closer.

The issue of Ukraine's geopolitical certainty was also discussed during the summit.

"An invitation for Ukraine to NATO is a way to strengthen not only Ukraine, but also all partners in the Alliance. This will open a much more positive security perspective for all NATO member states in the long term, as it will put an end to Russia's imperial ambitions," the President emphasized.

According to him, during the Ukraine-Nordic Summit, strengthening sanctions against Russia was also discussed, in particular, limiting the ability to use the shadow tanker fleet for financing aggression.

As a reminder, in Reykjavik, the President of Ukraine met with the Prime Ministers of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland — the spotlight was on continued support for Ukraine.

Previously, Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the President of Iceland Halla Tómasdóttir. The parties discussed and agreed on important issues for Ukraine during the war.
