Hungary sharply criticized permission to strike deep into Russia
Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Péter Szijjártó sharply criticized the US permission to strike deep into Russia with long-range missiles. This could expand the war to a global scale.
Péter Szijjártó wrote about this on his Facebook page on Sunday, November 17.
Péter Szijjártó's reaction to permission of striking deep into Russia
The Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs criticized the US for granting permission to Ukraine for striking long-range missiles at Russia. He suggested that this would only aggravate the situation.
"The pro-war mainstream has made its last, desperate attack on the new reality. These forces do not seem to even shy away from the worst: expanding the war in Ukraine to a global scale," Szijjártó wrote.
He also spoke about Donald Trump. The minister added that his victory in the presidential election will create a new political reality.
"This new reality is based on the will of the people, who decided in the elections. They decided to support the pro-peace, patriotic forces. The pro-war politicians who were removed from power in Washington and Brussels refuse to take into account the will of the people," Szijjártó noted.
In his opinion, this is not only undemocratic, but also extremely dangerous. He believes that the pro-war politicians do not shy away from even the worst, that is, the escalation of the war in Ukraine to a global scale.
As a reminder, the Head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ivan Tymochko, reacted to the US permission to use ATACMS missiles for strikes deep into Russia. He believes that the occupiers understood that this would happen, so they dispersed warehouses, logistics, and ammunition.
Germany commented on the permission to strike deep into Russia with missiles. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Annalena Baerbock said that the United States has made an important decision regarding military support for Ukraine.
