ZNPP on the verge of blackout
Ukrenergo repair crews have successfully repaired damage to a high-voltage line that supplies power to the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
The company noted that the line was damaged on the night of November 30 as a result of enemy shelling. Restoration work began immediately after receiving the necessary permits from the military.
"Наразі окупована Запорізька АЕС заживлена як за основною, так і за резервною високовольтними лініями електропередачі", — йдеться у повідомленні.
As a reminder, as a result of Russian shelling on the night of November 30, Zaporizhzhia NPP lost power to one of the two external power lines connecting the temporarily occupied plant to the unified energy system of Ukraine.
Earlier, nuclear energy expert Mykhailo Shuster said that the situation at ZNPP depends only on Russia. Ukraine does not have access to data from the plant and can only assume what is happening there.
