Ukraine and Romania agree on construction of bridge over Tisza
Ukraine plans to build a road bridge over the Tisza River. This will be a new logistics hub on the Ukrainian-Romanian state border.
This was announced by the MP Oleksiy Honcharenko via Telegram on Tuesday, December 10.
Construction of a bridge over the Tisza River
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision on the construction of a road bridge over the Tisza River, which will connect Ukraine with Romania.
"The government has agreed to the construction of a bridge over the Tisza River. This is envisaged in the Agreement with Romania," Honcharenko wrote.
The bridge will be located between the Ukrainian village of Bila Tserkva in the Transcarpathian region and the Romanian city of Sighetu Marmației.
The construction of the bridge will improve transport links between the two countries and stimulate the development of economic and cultural ties.
We will remind you that the body of a deceased man from Ukraine was found in the mountains of Romania, who was trying to illegally cross the border. Another body was found in the Tisza River, through which Ukrainian conscripts constantly try to illegally cross the border.
Previously, we wrote that four Ukrainians tried to illegally cross the border across the Tisza River. The men paid $10,000 each for a "safe route", but they were detained by border guards.
