A two-day international exhibition and conference ReBuild Ukraine Construction and Energy has started in Warsaw today. The event aims to unite efforts to restore Ukraine's economy. The focus is on infrastructure projects, industry, energy, and the housing sector.

ReBuild Ukraine exhibition in Warsaw

ReBuild Ukraine in Warsaw brings together more than 5,500 participants from 30 countries and about 500 international exhibitors. Among them are General Electric Vernova, Samsung, Arcelor Mittal, Panasonic, Maersk, and Siemens.

According to Halyna Ostapovets, a journalist at Novyny.LIVE, this exhibition is a continuation of the well-known Recovery Ukraine conference.

"That is, the reconstruction of Ukraine, which has already begun gradually in our regions, including those severely affected by the war. Several important panels are planned during the two-day conference. Reconstruction of the energy sector and construction are the main topics of this conference. Energy Minister Hlushchenko is scheduled to speak, and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko will also attend. Speeches are also planned by deputies of Ukraine's leading ministries, including Finance, Economy and Energy," the statement said.

A total of 63 Ukrainian companies are participating in ReBuild Ukraine, including DTEK, Metinvest, Caparol and Kness. National pavilions represent 18 countries, including Austria, Canada, the Netherlands, Slovakia, the United States and others.

The event will feature seven conferences and six specialized workshops where experts, public and private sector representatives will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing Ukraine on its path to recovery and integration into the EU.

As a reminder, an ecological reconstruction project is being launched in Ukraine. Together with the British and the Dutch, Ukrainians plan to change the approach to the use of concrete construction waste in the reconstruction process.

Earlier, Novyny.LIVE wrote that residents of Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih can use vouchers to restore housing damaged by the war. This program is implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) with the support of USAID BHA.
