Large-scale terrorist attacks may occur in the U.S. — FBI
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security have sent out 18,000 bulletins to law enforcement officials warning of potential attacks similar to the ramming and shooting in New Orleans. Officials are urged to be vigilant due to the growing threat of vehicles being used as weapons for mass attacks.

New terrorist attacks are possible in the United States
A special FBI bulletin notes that the ISIS terrorist organization has been actively promoting ramming attacks since 2014. The attacker in New Orleans, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, pledged allegiance to the Islamic State before committing the crime.
The bulletin warns that after a ramming attack, attackers may continue to attack using bladed weapons, firearms, or explosive devices. Such attacks do not require significant preparation, making them particularly dangerous.
The FBI calls on law enforcement agencies to pay attention to signs of preparation for possible attacks, including fake documents, surveillance of facilities, rental vehicles, or calls for violence on the Internet.
Intelligence in New York City recorded cases of ISIS supporters celebrating the attack online. In this regard, law enforcement officials emphasize the need to establish physical barriers to protect public events and streets from such threats.
On January 1, in the US state of New Orleans, the driver of a car drove into a crowd at high speed. A dozen people were reported dead and injured.
Subsequently, a mass shooting occurred near a nightclub in New York City, injuring at least ten people. The suspects are still at large.
