Car drives into crowd in New Orleans — ten dead
In the US state of New Orleans, a car drove into a crowd at speed. As of now, there are ten dead and 30 injured.

The publication reports that the accident occurred in the French Quarter, where Bourbon Street is located. During the New Year's holidays, there were a lot of people there because an open-air concert was taking place. The car drove into the crowd at high speed.
"So far, there are 30 injured patients who have been transported by NOEMS (New Orleans Emergency Medical Services) and ten fatalities. Public safety partners are responding to the scene. Updates will be provided as they become available," reported the city's disaster preparedness agency NOLA Ready.
At the same time, Louisiana Governor Jeff Landrieu called the deadly incident on Bourbon Street a "horrific act of violence" and asked to pray for the victims.
