The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine did not know about torture in the 211th brigade. No information about violations of the rights of servicemen was received.

The reaction of the Ministry of Defense to the bullying in the 211th brigade
The Ministry of Defense did not receive information about the torture carried out on servicemen in the 211th brigade. Dmytro Lazutkin believes that information about violations of the rights of servicemen could be covered up.
"We did not have information about these cases. We currently have this information and an investigation will be conducted," Lazutkin said.
He suggested that servicemen who suffered from misconducts or witnessed them might be afraid to report them due to intimidation. According to Lazutkin, such situations should be resolved by the Military Commissioner for Human Rights.
"Currently, you can file a complaint with the hotline of the Ministry of Defense or the Central Directorate for Protection of the Rights of Military Personnel," Lazutkin added.
As a reminder, the command of the 211th brigade was engaged in arbitrariness and bullying of the defenders. The MP Yulia Yatsyk stated that the servicemen were fiercely beaten and kept in cages.
The Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense has started working on verifying the facts of bullying of servicemen and extortion in the 211th Pontoon-Bridge Brigade of the Support Forces of UAF.
