Russian massive shelling of Ukraine has affected the operation of nuclear power plants. Five reactor units have reduced power output.

Press service of the IAEA reported this via the X social network on Friday, December 13.

"Today, 5 of Ukraine's 9 operating nuclear reactor units have reduced power output," the report says.

The reason is the renewal of Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

It should be recalled that on December 13, the invaders massively attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types and strike drones.

In addition, on December 12, the IAEA Board of Governors supported Ukraine's resolution on energy security.
