Security forces detain politician protesting in Georgia — video
Anti-government protests continue in Georgia, with security forces detaining protesters. Thus, one of the leaders of the coalition "For Change" Zurab Girchi Japaridze was detained.

Detention of protesters in Georgia
It is known that the Georgian politician Japaridze was detained on Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi, where the protesters moved from Rustaveli Avenue.
The day before, there was a verbal altercation between the police and the protesters. They blocked the road with garbage cans, which provoked police resistance. The police arrested several other protesters.
Currently, only patrol police officers and a few protesters are present on Chavchavadze Avenue.
Throughout the night, the protesters threw fireworks at the police, and the security forces used water cannons and tear gas. Later, the protesters were dispersed to the subway and beaten.
