After his inauguration, the newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, is preparing more than a hundred new executive orders on border security, deportation, and more.

This was reported by AP on Saturday, January 11.

Trump's new decrees

During a closed-door meeting on Capitol Hill, Trump spoke about the upcoming plan for Inauguration Day. In addition, the president's senior adviser, Stephen Miller, presented senators with border security and immigration control measures that could be introduced in the near future.

"There will be a significant number of them," said Senator John Hoeven.

Trump's allies are preparing executive orders that he can quickly sign on a wide range of issues. These include closing the U.S. — Mexico border, energy development, federal regulations on Schedule F labor, gender policies in schools, and more.

The AP writes that executive activity on the first day of a new administration is a common practice as the president sets key priorities, but Trump and his team's plans go beyond the usual.

The senators also believe the new administration will reverse many of the Biden administration's orders.

They expect Trump to return to his first-term policies on the U.S.—Mexico border, including requiring migrants to apply in other countries or stay in Mexico while their applications are processed, as well as large-scale deportations of people who have no legal reason to be in the United States.

To recap, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has expressed a desire to meet with Trump. The organization is currently underway, but the exact date is unknown.

Also, Trump's idea of acquiring Greenland has caused a significant resonance. Such a deal could be an important event in the history of international relations.
