US President Donald Trump is once again at the center of a scandal. This time, he released a new map of America, which includes Canada and Greenland.
He published the scandalous post on Truth Social.
Donald Trump showed a new map of the United States
On the map, Canada and Greenland are colored the same color as the United States. In this way, Trump allegedly showed that these countries should become part of the United States of America.
Mexican President makes a joke about Trump
Earlier, Donald Trump said he wanted to rename the Gulf of Mexico.
In response, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum proposed renaming North America "Mexican America".
She explained that these territories were called that way in the founding document, which dated back to 1814 and preceded the Mexican constitution.
Claudia Scheinbaum also noted that the Gulf of Mexico was named as early as 1607.
As a reminder, Donald Trump is also encroaching on Greenland, which has caused a global scandal. Thus, the King of Denmark even changed the coat of arms.
This is not the first scandal with Donald Trump's maps, as he recently published a map of Canada as part of the United States.
