Installation in New York to mark 1000 days of war in Ukraine

This was reported by the organizers of the installation.
Installation Domino Effect in New York
The installation embodies the chain effect of every choice, action and decision.
Each domino tile had two sides: a dark side, symbolizing suffering, death, and loss, and a light side, representing hope, resilience, and victory.
During the event, Ukrainians demonstrated the fall of dominoes, which conveyed the key message that every decision has consequences that can change everything — for Ukraine, America and the world.
"The installation served as a reminder that even after the darkest moments, there is a light of hope, and the strength of spirit helps us move forward. In the context of changes in the political landscape, it also emphasized that decisions made on a global level matter to each of us, and actions taken here affect lives far across the ocean," noted Hanka Smirnova, the creator behind the installation.
As a reminder, on November 19, an event dedicated to 1000 days of full-scale war in Ukraine was held in Washington, DC.
