The article says that the White House has developed a last-minute strategy to strengthen Ukraine's military position, which includes military aid and broad new sanctions against Russia.

After meeting with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak, Sullivan promised to provide hundreds of thousands of additional artillery shells, thousands of missiles and hundreds of armored vehicles by mid-January.

The United States will also support Ukraine in solving its personnel problems by offering to train new troops at training grounds outside of Ukrainian territory. At the same time, an agreement was reached to provide $20 billion in loans, which will be taken from frozen Russian assets.

As a reminder, Ukraine and the United States signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the governments on cooperation in ensuring the sustainability of Ukraine's energy system.

And U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken emphasized the need to lower the mobilization age in Ukraine.
