There is growing discontent among North Korean troops stationed in Russia's Kursk region due to a lack of food. Moscow sent a general to solve this problem and ordered them to receive additional rations.

This was reported by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine via Telegram on Wednesday, December 4.

DPRK troops stationed in the Kursk region of Russia have grown dissatisfied with the lack of food at the front. The North Korean military complains about the lack of food, which has caused great frustration among the soldiers.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine reported that in order to solve the problem, Russia sent Deputy Commander for Resource Support of the Leningrad Military District, Major General Mevlyutov, to the Kursk region.

"On the spot, the Russian general ordered to issue individual rations to the DPRK army from the food stocks of the 11th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces," the statement said.

According to the DIU, the aggressor country is prolonging the deployment of the North Korean contingent.

It is noted that the military of the 92nd and 94th Special Forces Brigades of the DPRK are being transferred to the operational subordination of the Russian army units participating in the hostilities in Kursk region. In particular, these units include the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment, the 810th Separate Marine Brigade and the aforementioned 11th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade.

As a reminder, North Korea has transferred self-propelled howitzers and multiple launch rocket systems to Russia, which pose a serious threat to Kharkiv as they can fire up to 60 km away.
