Shmyhal made a disappointing statement on electricity — video
The situation in the energy sector of Ukraine remains difficult. Responsible people must report to the public on the electricity situation every day.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on Friday, November 29.
When will the situation stabilize
According to Shmyhal, it is currently impossible to predict when the electricity situation in Ukraine will stabilize.
"Regarding when the situation stabilizes, it is currently impossible to make an accurate forecast," the Prime Minister said.
The head of government emphasized that the Minister of Energy and the head of Ukrenergo must report to the public on the electricity situation every day.
"They must provide a complete picture, inform about what work is being done. We need to honestly and clearly provide people with information about the situation in the energy sector," Shmyhal added.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the work to overcome the consequences of the Russian attack is ongoing.
"Energy specialists, rescuers, sappers are working around the clock. Emergency blackouts have been canceled in all regions, but now schedules of power outages are being forcibly applied," the Prime Minister concluded.
It should be reminded, that the Ukrainian power system continues to recover after a massive missile and drone attack of Russia. Energy facilities in several regions were damaged, as a result of the shelling on November 28.
The MP Serhiy Nahornyak stated during the broadcast of Ranok.LIVE that it will take several days to restore stable operation of the Ukrainian power system, but it may take longer in some regions.
