IAEA Board approves Ukraine's resolution on energy security
The IAEA Board of Governors has approved Ukraine's resolution on energy security. China and Russia voted against it.
This was reported by journalist Rikard Juzwiak on the X social network on Thursday, December 12.
Ukraine's resolution on energy security
"The IAEA Board of Governors has just approved a resolution on the security of energy infrastructure," Juzwiak reported.
The resolution was supported by 22 countries, two voted against, and ten abstained. The text was formulated without mentioning Russia in order to ensure greater support, in particular from China. However, the country voted against it.
It should be recalled that on December 10, the occupiers attacked an IAEA convoy with drones in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Previously, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reported on the condition and operation of three functioning nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
