McDonald's employee shares behind-the-scenes of Trump's visit to Pennsylvania
Natalia, an employee of a McDonald's restaurant in Pennsylvania, spoke about Donald Trump's unusual visit. According to the woman, it was originally planned that the promotional campaign would last 30 minutes, but in fact Trump stayed in the restaurant for only 15 minutes.
This was reported by Novyny.LIVE correspondent Uliana Boichuk on Tuesday, October 22.
Trump's visit to Pennsylvania
"Our shift workers were not present, the owner invited people from other establishments," Natalia said.
She added that many visitors are interested in where the employees who helped Trump with his preparations are. However, as it turned out, none of the permanent employees took part in this PR event — the owner of the site invited employees from other branches.
Details of the visit
As reported by the correspondent, two days prior to the visit, round-the-clock security was organized in the café lobby, and the guards are still present on the premises. The night before the visit, the restaurant closed at midnight, although it normally operates all night.
On the day of Trump’s visit, the restaurant was closed to the public and reopened only at 4 p.m. During his stay, a drone flew over the restaurant, and the day before, a helicopter was circling overhead. Locals discussed rumors about potential snipers on the rooftops of nearby buildings, though no concrete evidence of this was seen.
After Trump’s visit, the number of visitors increased significantly. Many of the new customers come specifically to eat at the café where Trump was. They take photos at the spot where he posed for a "photo with the staff".
As a reminder, political scientist and international expert Maksym Nesvitailov said that if Donald Trump loses the presidential election, his voters may not accept the results.
Trump also proposed deploying the military during the election, emphasizing that this is necessary to avoid unrest.
