At which checkpoint will farmers protest

According to border guards, Polish farmers are planning to begin a protest action on November 23 at 9:00 AM. The protesters intend to block traffic in front of the Medyka — Shehyni border crossing.

Preliminary information suggests that the action will last 48 hours, with a possible extension

"Vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons will not be allowed to enter the Republic of Poland. For departures from Poland, only one truck will be allowed to pass per hour," the statement says.

It is noted that the restrictions will not apply to passenger cars and buses.

As a reminder, Ukrainian carriers have faced a problem — Poland has started requiring registration in the SENT electronic platform.

We also wrote that the Solotvyno-Sighetu-Marmaciei checkpoint will partially suspend the passage of vehicles.
