Poland secretly produces weapons and ammunition for Ukraine
Poland has long cooperated with Ukraine in the production of weapons and ammunition. This cooperation is not disclosed for security reasons.
Polish Charge d'Affaires in Ukraine Piotr Łukasiewicz told ZN.UA in an interview.

Answering a question about the prospects of establishing Ukrainian-Polish military enterprises, the diplomat emphasized that such cooperation between Ukraine and Poland already exists. It includes the production of drones, tank repair, and high-tech developments.
Lukasiewicz also confirmed that a Ukrainian defense industry plant had been built in Poland, but he did not provide any more information.
"Some countries that declare such cooperation, such as the construction of a military equipment plant, are geographically located far from Russia. And since they are not in danger, they can talk about it. We are very close by, so we don't talk about it. That is, geography is very important in this context," the head of the diplomatic mission explained.
It is worth noting that Ukraine has joint ventures to produce weapons in the Czech Republic, Germany, and France. A number of arms manufacturers have also co-founded companies in Ukraine.
It also became known how much aid Ukraine received through the hub in Poland. Earlier, we wrote that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has authorized more than 1,300 samples of weapons and military equipment for use in the Armed Forces. Almost 75% of them are Ukrainian-made.
