Occupiers shot six prisoners of war near Pokrovsk
Russian invaders shot six Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Pokrovsk direction. This crime was committed with automatic weapons.
This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office on Tuesday, November 5.
Shooting of Ukrainian prisoners of war
Law enforcement officers reported that on October 23, during the offensive on Selydove, Russian military captured three Ukrainian defenders. Later, the occupiers shot them.
On the first day of November, during the assault on the fortifications of Armed Forces in the same direction, the occupiers killed three prisoners of war. They used automatic weapons.
The Prosecutor's Office recalled that these actions are a violation of the Geneva Conventions and qualified as an international crime.
As a reminder, according to ISW, the Russians advanced near Pokrovsk and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.
