It is noted that Ukrainian hackers attacked the network infrastructure of the North Caucasian Federal University. It trains drone operators, digital communications specialists, engineers and physicists for the Russian occupation army.

As it is known, this university ensures the operation of seven educational institutions in several Russian regions at once.

"The internal information infrastructure of the object was affected, the target resources of the enemy (websites, databases, file storages) with a total volume of more than 150 terabytes were destroyed. 11 websites, more than 7 thousand office computers, 135 servers and file storages were attacked," the sources reported.

In addition, a series of cyberattacks were carried out on a number of targeted Internet resources and file repositories of enemy organizations.

After the cyber specialists of the Main Directorate of Intelligence gained access to the network infrastructure of the Russian Federation on the affected web resources, they published a campaign leaflet in support of the offensive operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"The result of the operation was the weakening of the educational and scientific base of the aggressor country and the possibility of further training of military specialists by performing special reconnaissance tasks in cyberspace," the sources noted.

A few days before, on October 4, cyber specialists of the Main intelligence Directorate attacked the resources of the Russian suppliers. Other resources serving the occupiers were also attacked.
