Thus, €140 million will be allocated to provide emergency assistance, including food, shelter, clean water, healthcare and winter protection.

The European Commission has identified support for vulnerable populations in the eastern and southern regions most affected by the war as a key priority.

Another €8 million will be allocated to help Ukrainian refugees in Moldova and the communities that host them. Priority will be given to cash assistance, access to critical services such as healthcare and education, as well as psychosocial support.

As a reminder, Germany today announced the handover of the first RCH 155 wheeled howitzer to Ukraine, which was solemnly accepted by Ambassador Oleksii Makeiev.

It also became known following the Ramstein meeting that the partners would provide Ukraine with $2 billion in additional assistance.
