France and the United Kingdom are actively working to expand Ukraine's capabilities on the battlefield. It is a question of the United States of America authorizing Ukraine to fire long-range weapons at the territory of Russia.

Serhii Kuzan, chairman of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation, said this on the We Are Ukraine TV channel on Tuesday, November 12.

Macron and Starmer are trying to change the US position on long-range strikes

According to Serhiy Kuzan, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer are currently making diplomatic efforts to get Ukraine permission to fire long-range missiles at Russian territory.

"We remember that Secretary of State Austin voiced the US position that it does not support long-range strikes deep into Russia. But now we see that both Macron and Starmer are trying to change this position," Kuzan said.

The head of the Ukrainian Center for Security and Cooperation also noted that such actions by France and Britain show Donald Trump's administration that the countries are ready to take responsibility, but require appropriate authority and permission from the United States.

To recap, according to media reports, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will call on Joe Biden to urgently allocate a $20 billion loan to Ukraine before Trump takes office.

According to media reports, Britain and France want to prevent Donald Trump's plans to cut aid to Ukraine. The leaders of the countries met to discuss this.
