The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, called on Ukraine’s partners to increase pressure on the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. He claimed that the pressure should be so strong that the Russian dictator would want to sit down at the negotiating table himself.

It was stated by Andrzej Duda during the Ukrainian Breakfast in Davos, according to the correspondent of Novyny.LIVE.

Andrzej Duda noted that propaganda is working powerfully in Russia and recommended that partners pay attention to the rhetoric of the Kremlin’s "elite" and rethink the real state of affairs in the aggressor country. He explained that the Russians do not want to negotiate and are not ready to stop.

"If you look at the Russian aggression against Ukraine, at the language spoken by Russian elites in the Kremlin, if you watch Russian television, if you see the amount of Russian propaganda, you will see what the real problem is and what the real solution to this situation should be," Duda claimed.

Nevertheless, the President of Poland claimed that even tougher measures should be taken against Russia to make Vladimir Putin "beg for negotiations".

"If we are talking about how to encourage the one whom we put at the table, my answer is that we must take such strong measures to make Vladimir Putin ask for peace, for peaceful negotiations. I don’t want to beg Vladimir Putin to come to the negotiating table. I want Vladimir Putin to beg us, Ukraine, Ukraine’s allies to sit down at the negotiating table and talk about how to end this war and how to solve all the problems we have around us," Andrzej Duda said.

As a reminder, also at the Ukrainian Breakfast, the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, explained how Ukraine’s loss in the war against Russia could be "costly" for the member states of the Alliance.

Also, in an interview with Bloomberg, Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about when he would be ready to sit at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin.
