The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received a new machine gun

The universal machine gun SAR 762 MT of NATO caliber 7.62 x 51 mm has been included in the arsenal of the Armed Forces. It can operate under extreme temperature conditions.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Wednesday, October 30.
What is known about the machine gun
The Ministry of Defense noted that this machine gun is capable of performing tasks both in combat positions and from lightly armored vehicles. It can be installed on special tripods and firing structures.
"The machine gun has a number of technological advantages compared to the similar-class machine gun of the aggressor state "Pecheneg". In particular, the kit includes a quick-change barrel, which allows almost continuous fire," the report says.
The Ministry of Defense added that the machine gun has an adjustable gas valve, thanks to which it is possible to change the intensity of fire.
"The weapon has a high resource of the body and barrel. It is designed for effective use both at extremely low temperatures and in a tropical climate," the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
As a reminder, Ukraine continues to develop interceptor drones to shoot down Russian Shahed drones. Thus, they will solve the problem of constant UAV attacks.
France has transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine the latest drone systems manufactured by the Delair company. These drones have already successfully passed all tests.
