Zelenskyy's appeal to the European Parliament

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to the deputies of a special session of the European Parliament dedicated to the thousandth day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He emphasized the need for further pressure on Russia to end the war with a fair peace.

According to Zelenskyy, every "today" is the best moment to put more pressure on Russia.

"Russia will have no real motivation to hold meaningful negotiations without certain key factors: without fires at ammunition depots on Russian territory, without disrupted military logistics, without destroyed Russian air bases, without lost opportunities to produce missiles and drones, without confiscation of its assets," Zelenskyy emphasized.

The President highlighted that the Russian dictator values only money and power, and this is exactly what he needs to be deprived of in order to return peace.

"We must do everything to end this war — honestly and fairly. And, of course, together. Together. A thousand days of war is a huge challenge. Huge. Ukraine deserves that next year should be a year of peace," Zelenskyy noted.

The Ukrainian President called on European partners to continue unity.

As a reminder, on November 19, the President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the "Ukraine's Resilience Plan" in the Ukrainian Parliament, which includes ten points.

Novyny.LIVE also wrote that by the 1000 days of the war, Western countries, the European Union, and NATO had expressed their support for Ukraine.
