Zelenskyy's visit to Brussels
On December 18, Zelenskyy will take part in a meeting with the leaders of the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, NATO and the EU to discuss support for Ukraine.
It will take place against the backdrop of fears that the United States will reduce or cancel its aid after the inauguration of the newly elected President Donald Trump. At the same time, Zelenskyy and some European leaders have called for the deployment of foreign troops in Ukraine to deter further Russian actions in case of a ceasefire.
"This will not be a meeting at which specific decisions will be made, it will be more political, to discuss the coming weeks and months," the publication notes.
Let us remind you that fierce fighting continues in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian troops have advanced 6–10 kilometers from the city.
The New York Times wrote that the war in Ukraine could end in 2025 and explained the prerequisites.
