Zelenskyy held meeting of State Defense Committee on air defense

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the State Defense Committee of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Thursday, December 12. In particular, air defense was discussed.

Zelenskyy reported this via Telegram.

Meeting of the State Defense Committee

"Zaporizhzhia — a security situation, protection of the sky. I held a meeting of the State Defense Committee today, first of all, on the topic of air defense," he noted.

Zelenskyy clarified that it was also about stabilizing the front line and achieving our main security tasks.

The President emphasized that we need real peace, and therefore, we must be really strong for this.

"And we must do everything, so that every day brings us closer to peace," he added.

As a reminder, Zelenskyy had a conversation with the commanders of the 65th and 118th Separate Mechanized Brigades, as well as the 128th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade.

In addition, he visited the underground frontline surgical group, where he handed over state awards to the medics.
