Zelenskyy told what awaits North Korean soldiers in captivity
The President of Ukraine explained the difference between Russians and Ukrainians in the issue of treating prisoners of war. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also told what awaits North Korean soldiers in Ukrainian captivity.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during an interview with the South Korean TV channel KBS.
North Korean prisoners of war will replenish the exchange fund
As the Ukrainian President noted during an interview with the South Korean TV channel KBS, in Ukraine prisoners of any nationality are treated as prisoners of war.
"It is very important for us to save their lives, it is important to respect international law and not torture prisoners. I especially emphasize this, because in comparison with the Russian army, which tortured our guys, we do not do this," Zelenskyy noted.
According to the Ukrainian leader, the most important thing for Ukrainians is to increase the exchange fund. Therefore, North Korean military personnel will be exchanged primarily for Ukrainians.
It should be recalled that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that if Donald Trump wins the US elections, he will not be able to force Ukraine to hand over territories to Russia.
