Zelenskyy explained how the Victory Plan of Ukraine is related to joining NATO
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that one of the steps of the Victory Plan is joining NATO. According to him, partners should not be skeptical about this issue.
The Ukrainian leader said this at the "Ukraine — Southeast Europe" summit on Wednesday, October 9.
Ukraine's membership in NATO
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine needs to be strengthened now, not in "ten, twenty or thirty years."
"We are talking about an invitation. If they really want to strengthen Ukraine, if they want us to win this war, if they want this war to end not just with the loss of territories, people and justice, then they should support our proposals," the Ukrainian leader added.
It should be recalled that Zelenskyy announced the first step of the Victory Plan. He emphasized that Ukraine has developed measures aimed at eliminating the gap between the current situation and the successful holding of the Peace Summit.
Previously, Zelenskyy said that during the second Peace Summit, Ukraine will present fair conditions for ending the war.
